The CCB Booking Committee

As of August 2022, the majority of shows at Comedy Café Berlin are booked by our Booking Committee. You can contact the Committee via email ([email protected]) or our Booking contact form for booking requests or questions.

The Booking Committee consists of:

  • Noah Telson (CCB Owner/Programming Director and permanent committee member)
  • Josh Telson (CCB Programming Director and permanent committee member)
  • Belen Caeiro (2022/2023 committee member)
  • Lisa Frischemeier (2022/2023 committee member)
  • Rohit Bhatia (2022/2023 committee member)

What is the Booking Committee and how does it work?

The goal of the Booking Committee is to make programming more diverse and give interested people in the community the opportunity to be more engaged in the theatre.

The CCB Booking Committee is a 5-member team (permanent members Noah Telson & Josh Telson as owner/directors of CCB, and 3 rotating members of the community voted in for 1 year terms). The Committee meets regularly to book shows at the theatre. Our House Team shows are booked separately as these teams/shows are directed by Noah Telson and Josh Telson as part of the foundation of the theatre and Training School.

Anyone is eligible to become part of the Booking Committee if they are a member/former member of a CCB House Team OR have produced a show at CCB OR have completed at least Level 3 at The CCB Training School.

Eligible and interested community members are voted on by the CCB community once a year in late spring/early summer. We will post information on the next Booking Committee election in 2023.

For more information on the Booking Committee, you can refer to our info presentation created for the inaugural election. We fully expect the exact work and mandate of the committee to evolve organically as the inaugural 2022/2023 committee begins its work.
