Due to unforeseen circumstances, Toby will not be able to make the show. But the fantastic Carmen Chraim will be taking his place!
What’s better than one great comedian coming to the stage?
A SECOND COMING to the stage!
Clever comedy, cracking crowd work and compelling conversation with Carmen Chraim PLUS Daniel Stern’s strange stories, stage stunts and stupid stereotypes.
1 STAGE 2 COMEDIANS
Concurrent Comedy! Synergized Silliness! Coinciding Comics!
(Toby couldn’t make it)
Daniel Stern is an American living in Berlin. He is a former talk show host, a retired competitive eater, a screenwriter, actor and stand up comedian. Stern’s live performances are a manic, sweaty collage of anarchic wit, earnest confessions and stories about riding the bus. His acting resume also includes dramatic roles, voice work and a bit of tasteful partial nudity.Daniel podcasts with local news show Radio Spaetkauf and has produced countless live shows with titles like “Motherfudgers”, “An Hour on the M41 Bus” or the sort of eponymous “Staniel Dern Show”. Stern took last place behind three children in an NBA Summer League half time dance-off.
Born and raised in Lebanon, she wins over the crowds with her high energy presence & rapid-fire anecdotes. Carmen’s Middle Eastern background, passion for hummus, deep experience with Germans and sarcastic political views produce fantastic and original comedy.
Carmen Chraim has been performing her solo show for several years and has opened for many international touring comedians: Todd Barry, Judah Friedlander, Andy Haynes, Lisa Curry and more.
Toby Arsalan is a German-Pakistani comedian and writer based in Berlin. Toby has toured three continents, featured on Comedy Central’s Roast Battle and opened for comedy legends like Todd Barry and Judah Friedlander.Since the Corona pandemic has limited the possibility of live performance, Toby been writing scripts for the popular German YouTube channel “Datteltäter”.
COVID-19 Info (Updated November 2021)
How we’re keeping you, our staff and our performers safe:
- CCB is “2G+”. This means anyone entering the venue must be vaccinated or recovered and masks are required at all times (see below). Please note that we will check your vaccination or recovery status at the door! Government regulations require this to be a machine-readable QR code. Failure to provide proof of vaccination or recovery will result in denial of entry to the venue.
- FFP2 or OP masks are required at all times throughout the venue, including the theatre (except for that brief moment when you are taking a sip of a delicious beverage or a bite of a tasty sandwich). We do this for the safety of our performers (and you!) so please be respectful and keep your masks on even when seated.
- We have a brand-new state-of-the-art ventilation system AND air conditioning system with anti-viral plasma filters in our theatre!
Due to COVID-19 regulations, seating is limited.
These guidelines will be updated as restrictions change.
Doors open 15 minutes before scheduled show time. Please be aware that seats may be released at show time and latecomers may be denied entry or given standing room entry.
No refunds on ticket sales!
Unless otherwise stated, all shows are in English.
Please enjoy a drink at the bar before and after the show! (It’s how we keep the doors open.)
