The Queen’s Court – a character open mic
Saturday, October 19 | 11:00pm - 11:59pm
You are cordially invited to join our lady The Queen’s Court for a royal character stand-up comedy open mic hosted by Michele Guido and Andrea Björk! Witness the joyful tomfoolery, the majestic ridiculousness, the grand, the hilarious, the over-the-top performances of characters straight from the minds of Berlin’s finest comedic talents! The Queen’s Court is presented each month with a variety of performers from brand new debutants to more developed returning characters that are a guaranteed illustrious evening or… OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!
To the performers:
Do you have a character you played in an improv scene who you would love to bring back? A character idea for a sketch you’d like to try out? A character you already played in a sketch that you can’t wait bring back and refine? A favorite funny impersonation? Have you never ever tried character work before but are excited to give it a go? Then this is the show for you! We welcome all levels of experience, just send a message if you have any questions or want a little guidance with your ideas.
Please be aware that for the safety of our performers, staff and fellow audience members, masks (covering your mouth and nose) are now mandatory at all times at Comedy Café Berlin. (Except for that brief moment when you are taking a sip of a delicious beverage or a bite of a tasty sandwich). Our theatre and barroom are kept ventilated with open doors, windows and air exchange via fans.
To ensure safe distancing, space is very limited! Seating is only done in pairs and the price you see is for a pair of tickets (granting entry to 2 people). You may be able to purchase single tickets at the door if there is space.
Doors open 15 minutes before scheduled show time. Please be aware that seats may be released at show time and latecomers may be denied entry or given standing room entry.
No refunds on ticket sales!
Unless otherwise stated, all shows are in English.
Please enjoy a drink at the bar before and after the show! (It’s how we keep the doors open.)
