Moni Zhang – Child from Wuhan

Saturday, July 2 | 8:00pm 9:00pm

From a sweatshop in the ghetto of Wuhan, Moni made her way to Berlin. She searched hard for love, until a severe Depression hit her, forcing her to face unresolved childhood trauma.

Unlike Jesus, Moni turns tragedy into comedy. So join her for a story of trauma, love, and diarrhea!

Who is Moni Zhang?

Winner of Berlin New Stand-up Award 2019 and Founder of Berlin Mental Health Festival. Moni has performed this one-woman show more than 40 times in mainland Europe, and it’s part of Brighton Fringe & Edinburgh Fringe 2022. She has been featured in Euronews and Berliner Zeitung. Check more at www.monizhang.com

Is it standup comedy? Yes and no. It’s a mixture between standup & storytelling. It will be funny and emotional.
