About this Event
It’s been a while! But CCB is open again, which means comedy is back! Comedians are crawling out of their little lockdown holes and carefully checking WHAT IS THE DEAL with all these post-quarantine shows!
This week, join our comedians as they get back on stage and polish their jokes, old and new, dirty and clean, stories, bits and one-liners. It won’t all be comedy gold, but it will be all fun. Plus you get to enjoy and support local comedy again!
ABOUT THE COMICS
Ben MacLean is celebrating eleven years of terrorizing Berliners with his rural Canadian friendliness, and five years of hosting and performing standup. The world’s only diplomat turned comedian, his one-of-a-kind LinkedIn profile also includes stints as a gay fetish model and flight attendant. Add to this the reality TV-like experience of growing up the youngest of seven, and he’s been blessed with lots of material. In addition to doing shows in L.A., Cape Town and Tokyo, he was a semifinalist in the U.K.’s prestigious “So You Think You’re Funny?” competition. You might also know him from appearances in Siegessäule, Männer and taz or from Go West Comedy, his monthly showcase in Schöneberg. If you recognize Ben from some of his “non-comedy” content online, that’s something he’ll neither confirm nor deny.
Josh Telson is a comedian and filmmaker based in Berlin, Germany, where he lives with his wife and two daughters and refers to himself in the third person on the Internet. As a filmmaker, his work has been featured in film festivals around the world and has been seen on YouTube by a couple dozen people. As a stand up comedian, Josh performs regularly in Berlin and Europe, including co-hosting the weekly storytelling open mic Four Eyes, and his monthly storytelling show The Yarn. He is also a founding member of “GLB“, Berlin’s premiere long form improv team, co-creator of Tatort auf Englisch, and teaches improv at Comedy Café Berlin, where he also helps his brother run the place. You’ll see his face and say “Ohhh, that guy!”
To ensure safe distancing, space is very limited! Tickets are 8,50€ and only sold online in pairs, trios and groups of four.
